Meaning of life. . .and a survey.

Hello blogger peeps! Just a spontaneous little post to say--I'm still alive. And to ask you to take a minute to fill out my new survey. It would be awesome to get all our feedback, opinions, etc. Otherwise, I unexpectedly went on a 7-day trip to NC, just got back, and. . .yeah. . .life is incredibly busy in an incredibly-incredible way. I hope to get back to a regular blogging schedule soon. I have a ton of tid-bits to share, and man, with this fall-weather, I think some scarf-ish-boot-ed-sweater-y outfits are much needed on The Blog. Even though I was just at the beach and got a sunburn all over my shoulders. #notallitaliansareolive #gobeach As a side note, here's a sneak peak  of the bathing suit I will be reviewing soon.
{special beach-day memories with these lovely ladies! My week in North Carolina was literally one of  the best  moments of 2014. I laughed, learned, grew, and came away totally refreshed.}

God as always is good. He is teaching me so much (all the time!) and each day I am learning more about His Sovereignty. Elizabeth Elliot has been a huge source of practical advice, encouragement, and inspiration. Ladies--put 'Keep a Quiet Heart,' and 'Passion and Purity' on your reading lists. I'm in the middle of job hunting and things, so cozy home-days with coffee and lots of reading. . .oh, and Once Upon a Time (more on that in a future post,) are on the agenda. Prayers for the nanny job I applied to today would be appreciated! I didn't think I'd get back into nannying after 7.5 years, but the door has been opened. . .and in-home (meaning taking a child into my home,) will allow me to keep my own schedule, a lot more flexibility, etc. I'm going full-force into whatever God brings, big or small. Its a scary, beautiful, crazy, radical concept. "The Meaning of Life is to find your gift. . .the purpose of life is to give it away." -William Shakespeare

    The fall weather has been amazing! The trees are so brilliant and weather is amazing! I love pulling out the scarves and sipping hot tea and coffee. And reading!
